Application Engineers

Global Delivery Application Services (GDAS) Poland Center located in Warsaw offers systems implementation, software development and application management services to HP customers all over the world. GDAS Poland Center focuses on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Web Solutions, SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation, Application Management, Quality Assurance & Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. Most of GDAS Poland Center employees hold certifications from Oracle, Sun, Microsoft, SAP, Siebel, ISEB, ISTQB, ITIL, CMMI, PMP and Six Sigma.  

We are looking for:  

Application Engineers   

Successful candidate will work in one of teams supporting many business reporting applications for HP customers - both local and global. Job responsibilities will mainly cover monitoring, incident and problem management associated with the quality of reported data as well as development and implementation of application management processes. Job will require frequent interactions with IT teams of external customers.

• University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
• Appreciation for flexible working hours, including work on shifts

Technical requirements (one from the below sets of requitements):

• Knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL and familiarity with UNIX environment

or

• Knowledge of Siebel Analytics and at least basic knowledge of Oracle SQL

or

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL, C++/Java, we also appreciate knowledge of JBoss/BEA Weblogic and Webservices technology

or

• Knowledge of MS SQL 2005 technology, server administration and knowledge of MS Windows 2000/2003 Server platform

or

• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Oracle RDBMS, Oracle PL/SQL, Unix (HP-UX), Siebel Analytics, Oracle Express.
