API Specialist
Location: WarsawJoin the team leading enterprise wide implementation of IBM API Connect in multiplication environment for 56+ banking alliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and executing the upgrade's to IBM API Connect 2018
Creating relevant features in collaboration with the API Team and relevant stakeholders
Make clear agreement with the API team on how to follow up on project plan
Implementing IBM Connect 2018
Preparing images and automation of installation processes using docker and artifactory
Automatic installation and configuration using shells scripts, helm/tiller, ansible and similar of all IBM API Connect 2018 components
Automated installation procedures using Jenkins pipelines on OpenShift
Performance testing IBM API Connect 2018 components, including gateways, databases, analytics offload and web application on Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
Offload of console data and pod specific log files from IBM API Connect to elastic search
Setting up and automating back and restore procedures for IBM API Connect 2018 running in a kubernetes cluster
Configuring and monitoring scalability for IBM API Connect 2018 components (including Casandra, Gateway servers and more) on Kubernetes
Setting up failover testing, monitoring and alerting from IBM API Connect 2018 running on Kubernetes/OpenShift
SKILLS
MUST
Technical:
Good communication skills in English, technical writing and mentoring are a part of the journey
IBM API Connect 2018including components (Casandra, Gateway servers)
experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Openshift
Experience with Ansible and Artifactory
Experience with any programming language
Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence)
