To be the best Candidate for this role, you will need Finance/Economics educational background, minimum 6 years of relevant financial experience (ideally in an international SSC/BPO environment), very good knowledge of MS Excel, experience working in SAP preferred and be fluent in German and English. You have to be able to manage people performance and development.

For our Client- an international company located in Katowice, we are looking for the person to hold the position: AP Team Leader with German.
Your new role
As an AP Team Leader with German you will be responsible for:
- Management of a team – preparing targets, delegating tasks, motivating and coaching
- Organizing and supervising team’s day to day operational activities in the area of Accounts Payable (processing invoices, matching invoices with the payments, monthly reconciliations)
- Supervising monthly, quarterly and yearly end closing
- Supporting Financial Statement preparation and creating commentaries
- Being in direct contact with local and corporate finance teams and acting as key point of contact for Germany and other European countries for Accounts Payable related matters
- Gathering data, analysing problems, identifying root causes, developing solutions, measuring performance and reporting to the Finance Shared Services Lead
- Liaison with auditors
- Ensuring continuous improvement of Accounts Payable processes and working closely with project management team
