A globally operating company from the life sciences industry which makes people’s lives better every day is currently opening a new Shared Services Center (start-up)in the very heart of Warsaw.
For this company we are seeking Candidates for the positions of AP, AR and GL TEAM LEADERS.
Each of the AP, AR and GL Team Leaderswill be responsible for supervising the work of a team of Specialists providing accounting service to business units from around the globe, as well as supporting them operationally in daily work, solving complex issues and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, maintaining the best possible quality of service provided to the customer. Team Leaders will also be responsible for managing the transition of the process, incl. creating procedures, recognizing areas for enhancement and introducing improvements, as well as stabilizing the migrated process.
We are looking for Candidates with an Academic Degree in Finance or related area (recognized Accounting qualification e.g. ACCA will be an asset), who have approximately 4+ yearsof proven experience in people management, and several years of experience in operational workin respective area ( AP, AR or GL).
Fluency in English(working proficiency), as well as familiarity with US GAAPand SAPsystem are essential on this position. Very good Germanlanguage skills, experience working in the life sciences industry and experience working in dynamic SSC environment (incl. process transitions) will be considered strong assets.
