For Maersk Drilling - global leader in deepwater drilling - we are looking for experienced Candidates to join new GBS Centre in Tricity, on a position of AP Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the PtP month-end process
- Responsible for all steps in the AP & payment process: Ensuring weekly, Bi monthly & monthly payments payment schedules are followed for all MD locations across the globe thru the agreed process Thorough understanding of how domestic, Wire International, SEPA, KID and FIK payments work Returned supplier payments to be handled with great care and sense of urgency
- Ensuring that the suppliers do not escalate and reach out to CFO and higher management for not settling dues Continuously working towards improving payment on time area
- Good engagement capabilities with Suppliers, Master Data team, SCM organisation and other colleagues in core Accounts Payable & ICP (Inter-Company) teams
- Responsible for all steps in the credit notes process with involvement of the buyers and project managers
- Perform all tasks related to the AP function
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting
- Knowledge of Kyriba or Trax would be an asset
- Experience in working in international environments (preferably experience from non SSC setup)
- Knowledge of the AP processes and policies and full ability to apply these in the daily work
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
- Experience with MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems
- Act proactively to improve own work and team work
- Willing to travel (although limited travel is expected) and International mind-set
