The advertised position is a part of a newly created, global team.


Your next role

Analytics Solutions Manager will be responsible for driving a self-funding analytics model by generating high-value opportunities from Data insights and delivering packaged and deep analytics capabilities to the business.

Key objectives include:

• Identifying and quantifying high-value opportunities leveraging the business
• Lead development of Analytics POV concepts with IT and 3rd parties
• Driving roll-out of tested POV concepts globally
• Partnering with Commercial Analytics teams, Finance, CTO, Procurement Category and People teams to realize the benefits identified

Responsibilities:

• Developing and driving of analytical POV concepts for Global scaling in partnership with IT and business functions
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and application of advanced analytics capabilities to deliver data-centric business insights that support business decisions. Prioritising focus on few high value opportunities for POV and scaling, engaging senior stakeholders and business functions globally
• Establishing a close cross-functional collaboration with IT Data Platforms Team to formulate the product roadmap and the at scale implementation strategy.
• Developing data science algorithms to capture the business reality on the enterprise data platforms
• Managing the delivery of key analytics projects in close partnership with analytical teams across the company
• Partnering with regions with running analytics, facilitating best practice sharing and deployment of packaged analytics
• Leading Analytics community and accelerating the development of future analytics capabilities through bringing and sharing best practices from outside the company and pharma industry, delivery of training programs and embedding new ways of working.
• Building and developing future Analytics capabilities to identify business insights
• Delivering insights through advanced analytics and cross-functional business partnering on-demand
• Implementing best practices to deliver best in class end-user experience in analytics solutions area
• Actively seeking new ways to simplify and automate analytics solutions and deliver better insights by review of current and assessment of new tools and technology solutions and make recommendations on deployment of cutting-edge analytics methods based on fit with the organization’s strategic vision.
• Managing the internal stakeholders expectations, coordinating the technical delivery of solution components, assuring the efficiency and scalability of the applications developed by the IT teams and monitoring and measuring the service received against the SLAs.

What you’ll need to succeed

An ideal candidate is an experienced Data Scientist with a strong business acumen and understanding of business processes, preferably from FMCG or pharma industry, strong knowledge of best-in-class analytics solutions and proven experience in delivery of global projects.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

• Master’s Degree, preferably in Information Systems and Economics or Business Intelligence discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with global business and IT stakeholders
• Experience with working in cross-functional teams in a global working environment
• High degree of integrity, confidence, self-awareness & learning agility
• Confident and persuasive with strong influencing skills
• Ability to lead effectively and work concurrently across multiple priorities in a goal-oriented timeline-driven, and dynamic work environment, with quality and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical skills applied to a broad range of business issues
• Having a combination of process design, project and change management skills

IT SKILLS / LICENCES / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Databases, BI tools and data processing tools (e.g. Python, R, Spark, Hadoop)
• Visual story telling
• Understanding of Agile solution development management (e.g. Scrum certifications)
• Project management
• Continuous Improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
