HRK S.A. for a well-known IT company is looking for a candidate for the position:
Analyst/Quality Assurance SpecialistMiejsce pracy: Katowice
Job description, duties and responsibilities:
 
  • being responsible for the analysing, quality assurance of the whole systems (under development or extension) in case of new features, improvements and maintenance of applications for electronic payments platform
  • proactively contributing to support development the system architecture in accordance to the strategic direction of the company to deliver requirements in a cost efficient and timely manner
  • being responsible for the functionalities and requirements analyses
  • in case of test code level design: code organization, use of appropriate patterns and code quality for the successful implementation of a solution
  • feedbacking and supporting application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project
  • leading development and solution review activities, ensuring the application of the appropriate software standards, techniques, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
  • developing program logic for new applications or analysing and modifying logic in existing applications
  • take ownership of systems quality metrics and maintenance aspects,
  • supporting coding, testing, debugging and documenting software applications
  • ensuring that the system improvements are successfully implemented, providing appropriate testing scaffolding, and liaising with greater quality assurance processes and teams
  • analysing requirements, and translating business requirements into product and testing plans designs
  • writing technical specifications and other forms of documentation
  • conducting planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks
  • assisting with the ongoing refinement of development and delivery methodologies
  • guiding and mentoring other team members
     
 
Job requirements, experience and skills:
 
  • excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, very good command of English
  • a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • extensive experience of testing and developing high performance, large-scale systems throughout the product life cycle
  • a well-organized team player, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel,
  • excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills
  • more than two years of applications testing experience in lightweight development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or Lean)
  • agile engineering practices (BDD, TDD, CI, peer reviews, refactoring, etc.)
  • understanding of Object Oriented design, SOLID principles, SOA principles, design patterns and micro-services architecture
  • knowledge of SQL RDBMS
  • knowledge of SOAP and REST web-services, and integration approaches
  • knowledge of lightweight end-to-end systems development life cycle
  • knowledge of Git, Continuous Integration and basics of cloud computing paradigms
