Internal Competencies and Level of Authority
To approve the cash flows necessary for the management of the real estate, private equity, infrastructure and other alternative investment funds managed by the Real Estate and Private Equity Fund Accounting group.
To release the cash flows necessary for the administration of the companies managed by the Real Estate and Private Equity Fund Accounting group.
For the release of the documentation prepared by the Real Estate and Private Equity Group (e.g. release and confirmation of the unit values of the funds).

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
The post holder shall perform his/her duties in such a way that:
- all tasks arising in his/her area are carried out in a factually correct, timely and economical manner
- all existing organisational and work instructions and job descriptions are known and followed
- the flow of information within the department and to other parts of the company functions smoothly and good cooperation is ensured overall;
- the supervisor has a sufficient overview at all times of the development and particularities of the main activities
- the desired quality of work is achieved and responsibility for it is assumed
- Control of the work results within the team take place
- an escalation to the superior takes place in good time
Qualifications, Experience/ Skills and Key Competencies
His/her main tasks include:
- Independent and responsible processing of all business transactions and their accounting within the framework of fund accounting for Alternative Investment Funds.
- Coordination and control of the accounting service providers and general partners of all national and international investments, including the collection of the necessary data and information as well as their proper preparation and further processing.
- Settlement of payment transactions
- Unit price calculation and associated fund price reconciliation
- Taking over reconciliation work with the custodians
- Preparation of annual financial statements and input to the preparation of related reports
- Close cooperation with external partners such as asset managers, general partners and investors
- Direct contact person for internal and external auditors, such as auditors and tax consulting firms
- Close cooperation with internal departments, e.g. reporting, taxes/annual reports, portfolio management
- Collaboration to create service level agreements
- Project work (e.g. participation in the set up and takeover of funds)
- Active participation in the design and optimization of internal processes
- Participation in the professional and technical further development of the assigned tasks; (Suggestions for improvement, concepts, support during testing and implementation in production)
- Assistance with the implementation of new processes
- Support of colleagues in case of bottlenecks
- Fluent in English
- German language skills on at least B2 level
