On behalf of our Client, an aviation related company newly to be established in Gdańsk, we are currently seeking Candidates for the position of Load Controllers (weight & balance control).
Holding the position of Load Controller you will be responsible for determining the centre of gravity of an airplane upon departure and ensuring that this is within safety limits. In doing so you will be responsible for the processing of flights, which includes determination of weights upon which the flight plan is based, the drawing up of loading instructions to ground crew and the release of the final Load and Trim sheet, a statutory prerequisite of departure. The main focus will be performing the complete load planning through weight and balance calculation of customer airline flights and checking the planned figures of passengers, baggage, cargo and mail. You will be responsible for communication with the airport personnel, as well as releasing the final load and trim sheet before departure. As a Shift Manager you will be also responsible for your subordinates.
To be successful in this role you will need to have at least 1-3 years of experience in aircraft load control and/or dispatch. Experience in cooperation with many people is recommended. English knowledge at a high level is absolutely necessary, as well as computer literacy. The position requires working shifts, also night ones. The ideal candidate will be responsible, forward-thinking and focused on solution. Calmness is highly required, as well as ability to work both independently and in a team.
