Accounts Payable Team Leader
AP Team Leader is responsible for leading the team of around 15 Associates with main focus on providing daily work direction to the Team and guiding the Team towards best practices. Manage the day-to-day planning, operation and problem-solving, so that the team meets it required level of service. Planning resources for the Team, recruiting the right people, onboarding them in the new role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team and provide accounting services to a number of business units
- Monitor, control and report KPIs and SLA to Processing Team Manager, prepare analysis and develop improvement plans
- Set the right priorities regarding multiple work and demands
- Monitor scope of work and report them
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing across teams/departments
- Ensure work policies & procedures are followed
- Identify, capture & drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Take accountability for training of newly recruited team members
- Take accountability for effective back-up structure
- Day to day relationship with the customer including resolution of customer issues
- Ensure effective communication and cooperation within a team, cross- team and cross- department
- Perform ad hoc tasks on request of Processing Team Manager
- Participate in projects as required
Requirements:
- University degree required – especially within Finance and Accounting
- Four years of best-practice experience in various financial/accounting positions (desirable in finance & accounting in an international organization)
- Knowledge of, and experience in core finance functional competencies
- Good knowledge about P2P process
- Experience in team management
- English language knowledge required on a fluent level
- Other European language skills desired
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
