Job Description
In this Intercontinental position, you will perform accounting and controlling activities for the ELMAC region ( Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Canada).
You will be responsible for the accounting systems but also improve the current accounting practices and also support local finance and build strong business working relationships.
Responsibilities:
-Performance of quarterly Balance Sheet reviews
-Use and review of month-end accounting checklist
-Responsible for accurate, complete and timely monthly and quarterly accounting
-Review of trial balance and account reconciliation
-Lead for Accounting projects and Process improvements for ELMAC Accounting HUB and/or cross functional
-Create and track financial metrics as part of dashboard for management
-Operate as a link between local regional and functional finance teams
-Provide timely technical accounting guidance and controlling training to impacted stakeholders where applicable
Requirements:
-University Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred-Certified Public Accountant license(CPA) or equivalent
-Relevant professional work experience
-Experienced with SAP, Hyperion and other financial reporting tools
-Project management skills
-Demonstrates a high level of analytical skills and capability to solve complex problems
-High work ethic
