Our client is an international manufacturing company that is looking for an Accounting Centre Leader with a responsibility for all accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, Tax, etc. It is a brand new role that will be managing a team of accountants and offers a big visibility in a group and a strong growth potential.
Your role involves:
Responsibility for monthly reporting including month, quarter and annual closing and balance sheet oversight and reviews
Ensuring compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP, tax and governmental regulations and internal procedures; managing audits
Hiring, leading and supporting a team and a culture of performance management
Partnering with the Operations Finance, FP&A units in order to better understand business strategy
Candidate’s profile:
An accounting/finance degree and chartered accountant or equivalent required
Min 10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience in an international organization
Experience of setting up an accounting centre will be an asset
Strong Polish GAAP and US GAAP accounting principles
Good Polish tax regulations knowledge
Fluent English and Polish skills is a must-have, another European language will be an advantage
Min a few years of experience in a team leadership role
SAP knowlegde and experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
