For our Client, one of the largest private companies in America specialized in production, we are currently looking for the candidates for Accounting and Reporting Specialist position.
On this position, you will have to face tasks like playing key role in setting up the accounts to report function in the shared service center, maintaining, enforcing and enhancing Guardian’s Desktop Procedures, including streamlining and improving the quality of inputs to Shared Services Processes or month end inventory movement checks. You will also be responsible for ensuring closing process and quality, policy compliant, and on time month end submissions, monthly cost model update, Finished Goods inventory, Raw Materials inventory, Work in Progress, reserves (obsolescence, lower than market price vs cost), packaging not on glass journal bookings or variance analysis or reconciliations.
We are currently looking for candidates who have knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), very deep understanding and knowledge of Plant operations, Ability to travel (up to 100% during transition period, 10% to 20% beyond), excellent communication and facilitation skills or excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills. Ideal candidate would have at least a bachelor’s Degree and experience in a mid-market or larger Shared Services function, thorough knowledge of individual Plant manufacturing costing practices and models or proven ability of implementing best practices in a shared services environment. Additional advantages will be 5 years of relevant and similar experience and any other European language.
