Our Client is one of the global leaders within engineering and construction sector. In order to strengthen the Regional Finance Team, we are seeking to recruit a talented professional for the individual position of:
Accounting and Internal Audit ManagerMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
Duties:
Ensure that the monthly financial close is completed correctly on time every period;
Ensure that chart of accounts are in line with accounting standards, group controlling standards and legal requirements;
Prepare financial statements and tax reports (VAT);
Coordination of the audit – direct contact of local Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors, monitoring of external Tax Audits;
Ensure that the internal control systems are implemented and complied with to meet all Group and Local guidelines and compliance;
Maintain awareness on Group Policies and Procedures, clearly communication about them to the Accounting teams;
Manage, develop, coach, operational team of accountants in cooperation with Finance Manager;
Proactively work on improving processes and take an active role on bringing positive change into the organization.
Requirements:
University education with accounting or finance related degree;
Additional professional certificates will be an advantage (eg. ACCA, CIA);
Practical experience in accounting, internal or external audit and reporting;
Excellent knowledge of PL GAAP and US GAAP/ IFRS;
Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP system is a must;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish and English;
Experience in working in a diverse, multicultural, matrix environment;
Team management skills.
