For Our client multinational growing services company with office in Poland in Warsaw – we are looking for an experienced candidate for the role of Accountant.
The role:
Working on this position, the candidate will have to bear the responsibility for: ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles, takes care of bookings related to the subledgers AP and AR. Reconciliation with both internal and external subledgers/counterparties. Defines and implements group AR/AP strategy, responsible for setting up and co-ordination of knowledge network for AP/AR and cash & bank function. Ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with Company policies and procedures, ensures efficient credit management process for Accounts Receivable. Takes care of monthly, quarterly and annual regular and ad hoc reporting to internal parties within Group including preparation of data for TAX/VAT reconciliation purposes.
Expectations:
The successful Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in accounting, 2+ years related finance experience in a service environment. Preferably knowledge of Oracle Financials and/or Hyperion. Computer application skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good language skills in English; a second foreign language would be seen as advantage (Czech/Hungarian preferred). Ability to work accurate and with good attention to details. Able to meet fixed deadlines. Understanding of typical Finance processes. Interpersonal and Customer service skills. Basic knowledge of Credit Management services and activities.
