Team Manager, Online Sales and Operations - Wroclaw

This position is available in Wroclaw, Poland.

Google is looking for strong and experienced team leaders who can manage high performing teams in our Online Sales & Operations group. We need team leaders with flexibility, people management experience and great decision-making skills.

This role requires direct management over highly skilled client service associates in their interactions with potential and existing advertisers. This is an operational role for an energetic and motivated self-starter who is passionate about team-building and creating a great customer experience. Strong candidates should be extremely motivated, proactive, organized, responsible and should work well within a fast-paced group.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day leadership, direction and vision.
  • Lead a team of Account Managers working on the promotion and growth of Google's advertising/publishing program or customer service associated with Google’s many products.
  • Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices for new/potential client interaction and sales for these products.
  • Build team structure, recognize leadership potential, and develop enhanced skill sets within the team.
  • Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively suggesting and implementing new systems and structures.
  • Develop team members through coaching and mentoring sessions and by providing peers with development plans.
  • Provide regular reports on growth and performance of the department, and develop metrics to measure this growth.


Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent.
  • Quick learner with proven ability to grow and lead a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Passion for learning and creative problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of success in previous work experiences.
  • Related experience in client service and an internet company preferred.
