Online Sales and Operations Manager - Wroclaw

This position is based in Wroclaw, Poland.

The area: Online Sales and Operations
The Online Sales and Operations team keeps Google growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company's growing base of advertisers, publishers and users in more than 40 languages on a global basis, and providing them with the highest levels of service. We are responsible for generating revenue from a broad range of products such AdWords, AdSense, Gmail and Google Earth. This means that OSO team members need to be proactive, motivated, organised, responsible – and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role: Online Sales and Operations Manager
This is an operational role to manage a team of client service coordinators. This person should be extremely proactive, motivated, organised, responsible, and should work well within a fast-paced group. The ideal candidate will have experience building or working within an international operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Help build and manage a team of client service associates working on the operations of Google's AdWords programmes in Europe
  • Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices for client interaction and services for Google's advertising products
  • Build team structure, recognise leadership potential, and develop enhanced skill sets within the team
  • Increase effectiveness of employees and tools by recognising opportunities for development and proactively creating new systems and structures
  • Provide regular reports on growth and performance of the department, and develop metrics to measure this growth
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
  • Proven ability to grow and lead a team of 10+ people
  • Passion for learning and creative problem-solving
  • Proven track record of success in previous work experience
  • Detail oriented; ability to complete large volume of work quickly
  • Background in internet industry strongly preferred
  • Related experience in customer service management strongly preferred
