Description
We are part of the international ALTEN Group, which brings together over 28,000 outstanding IT and Engineering specialists around the world. We currently are looking for Websphere Administrator who will join our team to deliver the most innovative technology projects.
Main tasks
- Collaborate with stakeholders on requirement collection and engineering solution rollouts
- Manage projects using devops methodologies as well as traditional approaches
- Actively work with 3rd party vendors and lab advocates to discuss complex product issues and features
- Engage in and manage product evaluations
- Setup automation(s) to take out waste
- Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
- Develop Cloud based infrastructure platforms and deliver infrastructure, platform etc. „as a Service” by working with Business & other DevOps teams
- Determine the strategic direction and execute in each of the Technology
- Risk and Cost Management
- Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades), and build automation interfaces between systems
Requirements
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GITHub, Confluence, and Jira
- Understanding of Puppet/Ansible/HPSA products for end point management and application deployment across a large infrastructure
- At least 2 years of experience on the similar position
Optional skills
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (ideally IBM Tivoli and CA Wily/Introscope)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
