For our Client, well-known brand operated in consumer good company based in Katowice, we are looking for candidates interested in further development in Financial Analysis area.
Your new company
This globally recognised company located in Katowice is a fast growing organisation with stable employment conditions. Its finance department is expanding and they are looking for specialists (Juniors and Seniors) to full role of VAT Compliance Specialist.
Your new role
This position requires at least a few years of working experience in the area of VAT. A good knowledge of the (European) VAT law, as well as of finance and accounting are required. The VAT specialist has regular contact and cooperation with relevant stakeholders (both intern and extern). It is required in this role that coordinating skills are displayed, issues are picked up independently and that there is active participation in controlling the team’s responsibilities. The VAT specialist can participate in HUB related activities on behalf of the VAT team and has a responsibility to promote the team’s core activities throughout the company, raising VAT awareness of other departments.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful on this position you need to have Bachelor degree in Accountancy and Finance or Economics. Previous similar experience in Taxes area is essential – preferably 2-3 years in international environment as well as in big 4. What is more, you need to have experience in Microsoft office, especially be advanced in Excel. Additionally, you need to be great team player, well organized as well as feel comfortable in fast-paced environment.
