THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zeeland Netherlands.
This company is international orientated and has a challenging environment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will work in a very diverse role. You will be busy with the commercial site of the company's logistics as with the technical site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to customers ( world wide) 20 %
- Develop and implement Customer Solutions and lanes to new markets
- Being a member of the category team logistics deep- and short sea
- Negotiate and conclude contracts within the procurement policy and regulations for short/deep sea freight, pre-carriage and road transport to specified countries (outside EU)
- Contract management
- Establishing of HS codes
- Act as Counsel/expert for legal counsel (regarding to transport)
- Relation management
REQUIREMENTS
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in deep-sea logistics
- Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain
- Experience with the transport of deep fried products
- Experience in the life science industry is preferred
- Proven knowledge of complex international transport- and maritime legislation
- Negotiation skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of export documents, transportation legislation, insurances etc.
