For our Client, an international company providing innovative solutions for the optimization of the supply chain for industries such as consumer goods, fresh products, beverage and automotive due to the rapid growth of the company we are currently looking for Transport Manager North CEE Region.
This a new role within the organization with responsibility for developing and implementing national and regional freight procurement and transport sourcing policy. Transport Manager North CEE Region will work directly with carrier suppliers to develop and implement transportation solutions as well as cooperate with sales teams to improve supply chain processes and find transport collaboration opportunities. He or she will be responsible for preparing and executing of the budget for local and national transport as well as work with LeanLogistics in transport sourcing events for external customers in order to continuously drive cost reduction projects. We are looking for a candidate with minimum 3 years of carrier relations experience in a leading role with P&L responsibility of either selling or buying transport services and proven track record of success in transportation industry with increasing responsibilities.
The Desire Candidate for the position should be well networked within the carrier community and fully aware of the retail market situation. Of the person holding this position, we also expect strong organizational, analytical and time management skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills. Ideal candidate has a university degree, excellent command of English and is able to travel across the CEE region.
