THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Netherlands.

The company is a large, international player in the Nutritions Industry with several production locations world-wide. For the European region, I'm currently looking for a Third Party Manufacturing Manager for the external manufacturers in Europe.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role is divided in two parts: on one hand make sure that the high quality products are being produced according to the procedure set by the company and achieve the high quality requirements. You are result-driven and keep an eye on the KPI's and focused on continuous improving the efficiency of the production process and it's quality.

On the other hand you are being a ambassador of the company and work closely in cross-functional teams: which are quality, production, procurement and logistics. You are the link between the external manufacturers and the company. This means you have strong communication skills and have a tactical way of communicating and working. You have knowledge of contracts and make sure the contracts are being held.

For this role I'm looking for an experience Operations professional with experience in the Production or Supply Chain of the pharmaceutical or nutritions industry. You have several years of management experience and are looking for a role where you can broaden your professional knowledge and skills. There are also career opportunities to grow in the role of example of a Plant Manager or Supply Chain Director.

Beside the strong background in operations, you are flexible in traveling. With the 3 plants located in Europe, you will be traveling 20% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Keeping the quality and production standards high
• Make sure the production processes run as efficient as possible, keep an eye on continuous improvement
• Work in Cross-Functional teams, such as: Quality, Production, Procurement, Planning and Logistics.
• Manage intern and external stakeholders
• Translate companies strategy and vision to the operations at the external manufacturers
• Visiting external manufacturers (20% traveling)
• Responsible for the contracts between the external manufacturers and the company
• Being the like between the company and the contract manufacturing, being the ambassador the company

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong background in Manufacturing/Supply Chain and experience with high quality standards
• Background in Dairy, Nutrition or the Pharmaceutical Industry Zuivel
• Strong communication skills, knowing how to deal with different stakeholders, and persuasion.
• Feeling for Business, cost- and waste- reduction
• Analytical and result driven
• Knowledge of the English language
• Experience with TPM's is a requirement
