Test & Release Coordinator
Your usual day will include the following responsibilities:
• Managing releases and test phases within software development life cycle and ensuring early escalation of any delays
• Release planning managing release interdependencies and constraints, validating projects schedules, reviewing and coordinating implementation tasks (run books) across co-scheduled release.
• Test planning, securing test execution, test coverage and test quality as well as managing and allocating test environments
• Assessing all planned changes and releases to live services and systems to determine and minimize risk and impact.
• Assisting with scheduling of release activity considering all other known planned work detailed on change/release schedule.
• Coordinating the test phase in cooperation with all business areas and ensuring high quality in testing.
• Provide expertise and consultancy to both junior and senior management levels for assigned projects and products.
In this role you should be able to demonstrate:
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Detailed understanding of the end to end software engineering life cycle.
• Experience in test and release planning and coordination of complex system implementations.
• Knowledge of software configuration.
• Monitoring of test execution and post processing of tests.
• Profound knowledge of HP QC and / or other standard testing tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise own work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing technical environment.
• Ability to work under pressure, find logical solutions to problems and produce work unsupervised.
• Fluency in English
• Optional:
o ISTQB certified
o Project management skills
o German language
