Job Description:
For our Client - one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers - we are looking for a Test Automation Analyst.
The Test Automation Analyst role is responsible for testing changes and enhancements to systems and operational processes to ensure that these changes have the effect intended by the project team. The Test Automation Analyst role is to understand the nature of change, analyze the impact, identify what needs to be tested using automated tools and liaise with development teams, the business and other testing resources to ensure that quality standards are met. Changes may range from a simple fix to the introduction of major new systems.
Main tasks:
- Create and develop automated test scripts in cooperation with business users using one of our automation tool
- Develop automation tool framework in order to reach business needs
- Validate automated test scripts in cooperation with business users and development teams and ensure appropriate business sign off is secured
- Participate in risk based testing assessments with business users
- Define and coordinate the construction of testing environments and ensure that the necessary components are in place before testing commences
- Participate in the delivery of quality systems to the live environment on time and in budget
- Ensure that any issues or risks are addressed in an appropriate manner, escalating them as required

Requirements:
- Experience in automated testing of IT Systems
- Professional development experience in Java JSE/JEE
- Understanding of testing and development environments
- Ability to grasp and learn business subjects quickly especially on financial subjects and bring added value on software testing process
- Knowledge of testing software like Quality Center, Quick Test Pro (QTP/UFT), Selenium, LISA
- Knowledge best practices in Object-oriented software development
- Familiarity/experience in working in Agile teams (SCRUM)
- Autonomy, communication skills, ability to maintain good relationship with other teams
- Ability to speak and understand of English is essential
- Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must
