We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
TEST ANALYST
Test Analyst is to be a technical member of a team of IT testers whose role is to ensure code released into production is of the required standard. The applications where testing is required are part of the main public website of our Bank.
The role may also require involvement in Automation testing process to automate majority of IT testing processes to make these more effective and simple. Scope of work demanded by Global Communications and Global Marketing necessitates a dedicated IT Test Analyst to ensure the overall IT Testing team is cohesive and up-skilled as required to meet the demands of our bank’s IT business stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist business analysts and project managers in detailed requirements analysis, strategy and estimation
Assist test lead/test manager in creating test strategy/test plan
Design and develop manual test cases, write automated test scripts
Ensure tractability between requirements and test cases
Report/log defects and prepare test summary reports
Prepare and maintain test-tools, conduct reviews of test-ware
Analyse test metrics and perform UAT/Production sign-off
Requirements:
Great English communication skills, both written and verbal
At least 3 years of experience in website testing (for various browsers and devices)
Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is desired
Experience using tools like Jira, VSTS, Jenkins, GitHub, Confluence, Screen readers
Nice to have knowledge in test automation using Selenium webdriver - knowledge in Java/Node.js is an added advantage)
Experience in Performance and/or Security testing will be a plus
Familiarity with Sitecore CMS platform would be a great asset
Experience of working with business stakeholders at all levels
Experience working in a multinational environment; flexibility
Ability to work independently, produce high standards of work
Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodology is expected
Knowledge of accessibility best practices is expected
