• Providing technical support to customers, field engineers and resellers
• Participating in management conference call escalations
• Providing issue resolution for BCS Advanced access customers
• Participating in new product releases and beta cycles
• Research a wide variety of technical subjects including operating systems, software, security and third party applications
• Gathering relevant information about customer environments
• Defining and track bugs for Development, and offer innovative ideas to improve product quality
• Providing on-call support for 24x7
• Occasional on-site work at customer locations
Requirements:
• Fluency in English and German
• Customer support experience
• 2+ years of working knowledge and experience in troubleshooting applications and platform faults in Enterprise environments
• Hands On Experience Across operating systems such as Windows Server/Client and Linux and Enterprise Level Infrastructure Technology: Active Directory, Domain Name System, DHCP
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, Packet Switching, Routing, Network Topologies and Security
• Working knowledge of firewalls, Intrusion Detection System Brands & technologies, Packet sniffers and Vulnerability Network Scanners
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and Windows Exchange and/or other Mail systems
• Working knowledge of Relational Database principles and methodologies (Oracle)
• MCSA, MCSE, CCNA or CompTIA Security+ relevant industry certifications will be a plus
