THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Bayern Germany.

For one of our Clients, I am currently looking for a Technical Key Account Manager.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role as a Technical Key Account Manager you will have to take care of the relationship with the most important customers of our Client. Set and achieve sales Goals and Manage all aspects of sales in multiple accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for market development of new ingredients for Meat & Fish, Condiments, Bakery, Ready to eat/cook products, including ingredient management, recipe/formulation, product specification, value proposition to customers.
• Develop relationships internally (R&D, technicians, production operators, quality, regulatory, sales, and purchasing) and externally with customers’ New Product Development team.
• Understand and communicate all chemical, physical aspects of starch and protein ingredients derived from cereals and most often the mix of ingredients. Should be able to link functionalities of such ingredients to most optimized applications and cost-in-use for the above mentioned industries.
• Develop market knowledge of cereal ingredients for food and beverage industry and keep abreast with technical developments in the field.
• Needs to make customer visits to promote newly developed ingredients using technical presentation, demonstration.
• Planning and execution of innovation Forum for potential users from food & beverage industry.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate/Post-graduate in Food Engineering
• 3 – 5 years of B2B Technical solution selling for food ingredients
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills and strong persuasive skills
• Strong Inter-personal relationship experience
• Knowledge of packaged/processed foods (meat & fish products, bakery, beverages, culinary, confectionery, dairy & nutraceuticals)
• Deep understanding of Food formulation and good comparison skill (ingredient to ingredient, product to product)
• Customer Relationship and Project Management
