Technical Lead
Location: KrakowYou will join global IT team in Tier 1 European Investment Bank. Team will work on single '1 stop shop' dashboard for Front Office trading supervisors. The platform will facilitate ingestion of a broad range of Control data (from various global sources of data), will carry out Workflow on that data and will present it in a Portal / User Interface. It will be used in 50+ countries.
As a member of newly setup team we are building in Krakow you will be a part of small IT department, globally less than 30 people and currently based in London and India. Team will support Front Office Supervision team with new system functionalities.
Successful tech lead in this position should have hands-on experience in back-end(Java, Spring) and front-end(Angular). You are expected to be involved not only in designing service and setting technical direction but have personal input in software development along with team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the technical leadership of the team:
o This means designing the service as well as setting the technical direction for the service.
o This is "hands-on" role where you'll be expected to cut code as well as be the technical lead.
o You will be working with overall delivery manager and other technical leads to evolve the architecture of the new system.
Leading and mentoring the team that will be covering all aspects of delivering software to your users: development, automating testing and deployment of small and frequent releases
Production availability of your service - if you build a service you own the service
SKILLS
MUST
Experience of leading software development teams in an Agile/Lean environment
Experience with Continuous Delivery software development methods, including TDD and automated testing (including non-functional testing).
Experience of micro service architecture
Front End: Angular 6, HTML5, CSS3
Back End: Microservice architecture, Java 8, Spring Boot Admin, Spring Batch, Spring Integration
NICE TO HAVE
Prior experience working with project in Investment Banking industry is a plus.
