For our Client, an international manufacturing company we are looking for a Technology Director who will become a part of new Research & Development Centre in Poland (start-up project).
The primary purpose of the position is to create, manage and develop an engineering centre in Poland. In collaboration with senior management, the Technology Director will be responsible for defining aims and deliverables that support business goals and international expansion. What is more, he/she will plan and schedule activities and projects and continuously develop the competence and skills of the organization. Moreover, the scope of duties of that person will also include coaching, motivating and supervising team members and contractors to reach defined targets. He/she will build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the operation. And the last but not least, assuring and maintaining safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations are also a part of Technical Director’s obligations.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 10 years of leadership experience within Datacom/Telecom industry and Technical University Degree (preferably in Mechanics, Electrics or similar faculties). Moreover, the knowledge of mechanical and electrical design and document control processes is desirable. Demonstrated product development knowledge and experience in working in international environment connected with fluent command of Polish and English is required. Additionally, we are looking for professionals with CAD and PDM and Product verification and certification knowledge. The expertise within design of Telecom and Datacom applications as well as ETSI and CE requirements will be treated as an additional assets. A perfect candidate is a person who is well- able to work in a team within all level in organization.
