Cyclad is an international consulting company operating in the IT/ICT sectors, providing outsourcing solutions for HR and IT services.
For our client, one of the World’s biggest companies providing IT security solutions worldwide in four domains of expertise: Cyber Security, Financial Crime, Communications Intelligence and Digital Transformation, we are looking for Technical Consultant.
Job specification:
- Work within a team of Technical and Business Consultants focused on the implementation of the product
- Adhere to and enhance software development approaches and methodologies
- Deliver high quality work to meet client expectations and project deadlines
- Respond to and resolve technical issues
- Configure technical aspects of the product
- Designing, developing and documenting configurations for the Application to meet client requirements
- Participate in the technical workshops during the analysis and design stages of project
- Building and perform unit test cases
- Capturing and documenting requirements, installation guides
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience or equivalent in a technical role
- Fluency in spoken English (min. B2)
- Very good knowledge of SQL and in-depth experience of databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
- Good knowledge of application servers such as Websphere, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss
- Some knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Unix Solaris, AIX, HPUX
- Knowledge of software development project tools, principles and techniques
- Previous experience of installing software, creating test environments
- Technical trouble shooting skills
- Confident presenting complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication skills and experience of team working
- An enthusiasm for working with clients across Europe
Optional requirements:
- Coding or scripting experience (Java knowledge is a strong advantage)
- Fluency in spoken another European language would be a plus
- Knowledge of financial markets – technical standards, participants
- Experience of the full software development lifecycle
