THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Netherlands.
The company is a growing CMO located in the south of The Netherlands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will coordinate and support the manufacturing of cell therapy products. The team under your supervision consists of 8-10 bioengineers and you will function as an intermediate with the production team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- management and support of cell- and tissue culture activities (in accordance with cGMP regulations) and plan maintenance and cleaning
- organize and coordinate logistics of material intake, preparation and organization of final product shipment
- ensure generation, review and approval of manufacturing documents
- initiation and timely follow-up of deviations, CAPAs and Changes (in coordination with QA department)
- suggesting and implementing process, planning and training improvements
- qualification and coaching development of the team
- safeguarding quality and overall GMP compliance related to manufacturing activities
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/MSc degree with focus on cell biology and/or human cell culture
- 3 years of experience with cell/tissue culture in a GMP environment
- willingness to work flexible hours
- leadership qualities
- strong communication skills in English
