System Administrator

The main work consists of the following:

F1 Outsourcing is seeking a talented and motivated individual, with an university educational/communicative level in English, who can operate independently and in a team, who has affinity with open source and system administration on Linux (and windows).

You will be working for an outsourcing company in Krakow, where you will work independently in a small team on servers of our clients who are mostly based in the Netherlands. A senior system administrator is available to consult. If you think you can be our man or woman contact us so we can send you detailed information about the work you will be doing.


Responsibilities:

• research and recommend innovative ways to automate system administration tasks.
• maintain and manage all aspects of Linux server maintenance from operating system installation to patch updates on a timely basis.
• ability to prioritize tasks and work with a diverse set of users' needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Fluent in English

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• File System management (LVM, Quota’s, etc.) including NFS, CIFS maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Virtualization based on VMware and KVM
• Experience with TCP/IP Networking including troubleshooting (tcpdump, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Linux shell scripting, bash, perl, rsync
• Four+ years of Linux system administration experience required with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve Linux software and hardware issues quickly and efficiently.
• Two+ years Windows 2003/2008 sbs system administration experience
• Exchange Server management and Exchange troubleshooting
