Support Engineer

Support hybris partners and customers to identify errors in our software and then to communicate these errors to our R&D team or to find solution.

General responsibilities include:

• Availability for shift work to cover 24 / 7 support
• Availability for emergency work on weekends or during night shifts
• Communication and negotiation with the customer, to understand, identify and solve product related issues
• Gathering of information related to issues and coordinate with the relevant people on the customer/partner side
• Communication with the maintenance team of R&D for deep technical issues.
• Setting up system configurations, which reproduce the customers issues.
• Analysis of source code, stack traces, database log files etc. to investigate problems.
• Maintenance of our knowledge base for hybris Support related topics.
• Continuing study about new functionality and modules we develop, to be able to support these.

• Computer Science or Engineering degree or similar applicable experience
• 2+ years experience in software product support
• Experience of working in international projects
• Excellent English
• German language skill as an additional asset
• Good communicative and coordinative skills
• Good Experience in JEE and Web Technologies
• Good Experience with Database Administration, Clustering and Tuning (Oracle, mySQL, MS-SQL)
• Good Experience with Linux and Windows
• Experience with E-Commerce Processes
