Support Engineer
Support hybris partners and customers to identify errors in our software and then to communicate these errors to our R&D team or to find solution.
General responsibilities include:
- Availability for shift work to cover 24 / 7 support
- Availability for emergency work on weekends or during night shifts
- Communication and negotiation with the customer, to understand, identify and solve product related issues
- Gathering of information related to issues and coordinate with the relevant people on the customer/partner side
- Communication with the maintenance team of R&D for deep technical issues.
- Setting up system configurations, which reproduce the customers issues.
- Analysis of source code, stack traces, database log files etc. to investigate problems.
- Maintenance of our knowledge base for hybris Support related topics.
- Continuing study about new functionality and modules we develop, to be able to support these.
Wymagania
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or similar applicable experience
- 2+ years experience in software product support
- Experience of working in international projects
- Excellent English
- German language skill as an additional asset
- Good communicative and coordinative skills
- Good Experience in JEE and Web Technologies
- Good Experience with Database Administration, Clustering and Tuning (Oracle, mySQL, MS-SQL)
- Good Experience with Linux and Windows
- Experience with E-Commerce Processes
