Support Engineer

Opis stanowiska

This is a 3rd level position providing in depth support on customer infrastructure as well as acting as an escalation point for lower level support.

Wymagania

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • At least 3 years of experience working on a similar position
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and existing ones
  •  Logical thinking
  • Ability to utilise all tools available to resolve 95% of issues at the first time of aski
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/Small Business Server 2003
  • Terminal Services / Citrix
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007
  • Some SQL Server 2000 / 2005 Experience Helpful
  • Firewall/Routers. (Checkpoint Firewall, Layer 3 switches)
  • WAN configurations – Site to Site VPNs Routing / NAT configurations
  • Strong IP skills (Good understanding of TCP /IP and ISO Model)
  • Good understanding of server hardware and storage (i.e. RAID sets on servers, SANS, tape drives).
  • MCSE Preferable but not necessary
  •  Citrix and Virtualisation (VMWare, MS HyperV, Xenserver)
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff at client sites.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and gain client confidence
  • Ability to work individually and as a team
  • Ability to follow company procedures and methods
  • Availabilityto work out of hours / weekends if necessary
