Our client is a professional FMCG organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
The company is a leading manufacturer of consumer products that are sold in many places such as in, the grocery store, drugstore, electro specialist, perfumery and at the hairdresser. The company works hard to help make the lives of consumers more pleasant for now and in the future.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Supply Chain Specialist is preferably someone with a strong planning background. This person will be working in the department dealing with both raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials. You will manage timely, efficient, effective and independent programs from the first subject enrolment on per country/cluster.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all activities related to ensuring the Raw Materials/Packaging Materials are properly received on time
- Prepare the raw materials to be available for production at all times
- Perform all activities related to ensuring the shipment of finished perfume to customers on time
- Participate and contribute actively in plant-wide initiatives to eliminated logistics related risks and losses
- Make short and longterm forecasts for different product categories
- Collaborate with partners in Marketing and Sales, Supply Chain and Customer Service
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Minimum 3 years experience within a supply chain planning position
- Familiar with SAP and advanced with Excel
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
