For our client, a leading support and business solutions international company located in Warsaw, we are currently looking for Supply Chain Senior Consultant.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for advising to leading organizations in all industries, helping them improve their procurement performance. You will support procurement transformations in areas including designing procurement operation models, procurement strategy, procurement processes, Source to Contract (S2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) optimization and digitalization/technology optimization, supplier relationship management and procurement performance management.
As a Supply Chain Senior Consultant you will assist in designing future procurement operating models and look for leading practices in organizational set up, demand-to-pay processes and supporting technology. You will be supporting the evaluation, design and implementation of procurement tools, as well as assist in developing/driving procurement activities for each of the items or services within a spend category through vendor negotiations, process improvements, and compliance. You will be expected to co-lead cross-functional sourcing teams that look at areas of spend responsibility and support tenders and/or negotiations by running analyses. Among your responsibilities will be supply market research and assisting European procurement advisory team with creating and managing internal and external benchmarking processes. You will be responsible for coordinating vendor relations and supplier quality assurance; tactical report cards, with line of business functional authorities.
To be successful in this role you should possess at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally within procurement, supply chain management and/or consultancy. As travelling will be around 50% of your work time, you should be able and flexible to travel. Very good analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Knowledge of procurement enabling technologies, such as SAP S/4-Procurement, SAP-Ariba or other leading procurement cloud-technology providers will be considered an asset. Very good command of English and at least communicative level of German are required.
