Supply Chain Manager
Miejsce pracy: WrocławThe main responsibilities are:
- Identifying and implement opportunities for improvement and maintain standards of best practice across all processes.
- Leading the supply chain with customer and internal operations on commodity optimisation, new product cost analysis, delivery commitments, service and order book management.
- Managing the team and their activities to maintain and if possible exceed all agreed service levels.
- Coordinating with the purchasing team (procurement) on negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms & conditions.
- Developing and maintaining new and existing supplier relationships.
- Analysing all relevant data to limit supplier risks and improve compliance.
- Employing risk management tools to identify and assessing the risk of a supply failure.
- Developing contingency plans or take pro-active action to minimise or eliminate risk.
- Reacting to and managing changes in customer demand and vendor supply in a timely manner.
- Analysing supplier performance on a regular basis and proactively advise customers management on next steps.
The profile:
- Previous experience (3 years+) working within a purchasing environment
- Fluent English
- Educational degree is an asset
- Experience with managing a team
- Intermediate level IT skills, being proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Pro-activity, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
