A global International Company, based in Warsaw is looking for a Specialist/ Expert to join Supplier Management team. The Supplier Management Specialist/ Expert is a position designed to drive the optimum selection, implementation and long term performance management of Suppliers for targeted categories (both direct and indirect).
Supplier Management Specialist/ Expert will be responsible for developing, building and maintaining an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance. Will also measure the performance of the supplier and define corrective actions. The Candidate will lead and support the negotiation of agreements with suppliers resulting in cost models, an implementation strategy and a documented agreement, ensuring the Company meets its overall goals for cost, quality, continuity of supply, etc. Supplier Management Specialist/ Expert will also collect various data and will prepare supplier analyses.
To be successful in this role you need to have a few years of experience in sourcing, supplier management or supply chain area. You need have proven skills in supplier selection and management. You will need to have knowledge of supplier quality management systems. As you will be working with internal clients and suppliers worldwide, it is a must to speak English fluently. There is also a must to be well organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
