Supplier Development Engineer
Miejsce pracy: NiepołomiceMain duties:
- work with suppliers to develop and continuously improve their capabilities to reliably deliver high quality products on-time,
- facilitate solving complex quality problems through cross-functional teamwork,
- use of Quality tools: auditing principals, SPC, MSA, First Articles, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, control plans, process controls, RCCA (Root Cause-Corrective Action), etc. to understand and ultimately resolve challenges in the supply chain and internally,
- screening, evaluation, and implementation of supplier Value Add/Value Engineering proposals,
- drive and/or co-define documentation best practices with Engineering,
- contribute as Core team member as required on transition projects,
- support corporate business groups globally,
- travel to assigned suppliers (domestic and international).
Requirements:
- technical university degree (Electronics/Electrical Engineering specialization preferred),
- technical knowledge of manufacturing process for electronic assemblies,
- 3-5 years of experience working in Supply Chain (Supplier Quality Engineer or Commodity Manager preferred),
- fluent English skills,
- able to interpret/read drawings, prints, specifications,
- demonstrated experience as “change agent” internally within company, and externally with suppliers with positive results,
- experience and understanding of manufacturing standards (e.g. ISO-9001, ISO-14001, ISO /TS 16949),
- experience with 6 Sigma &Lean Manufacturing Methodologies,
- excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross functional and international teams,
- detail oriented and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
