For our Client, an international number one home appliances Producer, we are currently searching for a passionate Design Engineer, who will join its matrix structure at the position of Structural Design Engineer dedicated to global R&D Centre’s branch office based in Wroclaw.
Being a part of global R&D Team located in Wroclaw, the person on this position will be mainly responsible for designing components and product subassemblies using CAD programs (Creo/Parametric) in cooperation with other R&D Engineers involved in development of products dedicated to all Company’s locations. Therefore her/his range of obligations will include supporting Product Specification, lifecycle development of product group and the project through all its phases. What is more, Structural Design Engineer will be accountable for creating ideas for new designs, cost reduction and quality improvement projects, also in cooperation with other functions in Company’s structure (marketing, design, industrial engineering). The Structural Design Engineer will be in charge also of patent analysis and searching for new patent ideas. Moreover, Candidate’s scope of responsibilities will include solving problems and finding reliable technical solutions, creating and maintaining documentation. On a daily basis the Candidate will support her/his team, delivering CAD models for Finite Element Analysis.
To apply for this position you need to have at least 2 years of experience gained in Research & Development Department of white goods manufacturing Company, as well as at least Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in both component/product development with 3D CAD modeling (Creo/Parametric preferred) and component/product development lifecycle management are also essential to be a successful Candidate. Our Client is seeking a person who presents very good communication skills, also in English language. Due to multinational environment very good level of both spoken and written English is a must. Along with the usual professional competencies like drawing experience and GD&T application (tolerance definition and analysis) and being acquainted with materials’ characteristics, Candidates should have knowledge and working experience in injection molding and sheet metal forming processes, as well as basic knowledge in tooling construction and Lean Manufacturing tools. Knowledge in simulation analysis (Finite Element Analysis) would be an advantage. The perfect Candidate should present team player attitude and constant willing to learn.
