Currently we are looking for Candidates interested in the position of Strategic Indirect Buyer. Our Client is the international company, leader in its sector, that develops its Procurement Team in Warsaw. The
Strategic Indirect Buyer will deliver procurement-based competitive advantages globally across the company for dedicated indirect category (IT & Telecom/Professional Services/Facility Management/Administration) by managing a world-class supplier network. This mission will be accomplished through the following: development, agreement and implementation of category strategies and value delivery plans for the category globally. The scope of the duties will also include developing category strategies to optimize spend globally as well as sourcing and managing appropriate key players and solutions for category management.
Ideal candidate has very good knowledge of supplier market in the European region for indirect purchasing categories and has the knowledge of Global Sourcing processes and legal contract negotiations. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and a few years of hands on related experience in purchasing, procurement in indirect categories are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate across all management and organizational levels as well as ability to deliver results and think strategically are required. Fluency in English both written and spoken is a must while German or French will be an additional advantage.
