Storage Management Specialist

Our partner provides high quality infrastructure management services delivered from a single location to its Customers at the highest value. It covers the entire EMEA region 24 hours and 7 days a week serving its various International customers throughout Europe, for different market segments like Industry, Banking, and Logistics.

IT Specialist in this job role will have expertise in one or more storage system technology areas. Examples include: disk, tape, optical, SAN, NAS, or storage software related to these technologies. Typical examples of the deliverables are building proof-of-concept solutions with storage system technology and architecting storage solutions to address client requirements. IT Specialists in this job role work with products or solutions based on any vendor hardware and/or any vendor operating system software. IT Specialists who apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions. Individuals who are part of Support typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical customer situations.

Responsibilities:

• Backup and Recovery strategies
• Backup solution: Client-server (TSM standard), stand-alone (supported)
• Disk storage, Tape storage, Storage area network (SAN), network attached storage (NAS), DASD management, Storage media
• pSeries, xSeries, zSeries, iSeries
• A critical part of the service delivery cover business continuity as such storage management insure that data is preserved and saved

• at least Bachelor's University Degree with focus on IT, preferable Master Degree
• at least 2 years of experiences with Storage
• interest in Storage technology
• Good written and spoken English is mandatory
