Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
The mission of the company is to deliver statistical expertise that supports research and development activities across different projects.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Statistician, non clinical, you will provide internal statistical support in close interaction with other teams, such as engineers, technicians and biologists. You are a master in statistical theory of a broad spectrum of methodologies and experimental designs. You recognize yourself in a creative, responsible and innovative person who is also a team player and likes to share knowledge with the teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for internal statistical support in close interaction with other teams within the company
- Sharing and explaining of results and conclusions with non-statisticians
- Identifying new opportunities for the integrating of statistical expertise into different development activities
- Advice on novel and state-of-the-art statistical approaches
- Responsible for time control of the assigned projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree in Sciences, post-graduate in Bio statistics
- PhD is a big plus
- Good communication skills in English and French, both spoken and written
- 8+ years' experience in statistics in a research environment (preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector)
- Working experience with SAS, R, JMP computation knowledge
- Able to liaise theory with practical translations and share experience
