Your new role
As a Head of theGlobal Business Services Centre (RGBS) – Accounting you will:
- Provide leadership to the RGBS-Accounting management team, coaching team managers to lead and develop their teams and departments effectively.
- Establish a work culture within the RGBS-Accounting organisation that promotes teamwork and sharing within the Finance community and the organization globally and partnering with stakeholders based on global governance.
- Deliver high quality, timely and efficient accounting services to the different business units and Group functions.
- Set, agree and monitor progress of KPIs for the RGBS-Accounting organisation.
- Proactively identify any service delivery issues within the organization and take corrective actions based on a global framework and promote performance improvement.
- Deliver general facility services (housing, payroll etc) to the different functions
- Preparation of forecasts and budgets of RGBS-Accounting, including the general location costs. Cost control.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ years of general professional experience in building, operating and optimizing finance and accounting services including at least 5 years of managerial experience in an SSC of a major international, industrial company.
- Proven experience with leading leaders and management of a business unit in an international organisation with different customers in different countries.
- Excellent English knowledge (a must).
- University degree preferably in finance/economics/MBA.
- Very good knowledge of processes within BPO/SSC.
- Practical knowledge of SLAs, workload management and continuous improvement tools
