Currently, we are looking for Software Test Automation Engineer who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers.
Main tasks:
- Analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements
- Amend and produce specifications/documentation as required
- Develop testing tools in order to reach business needs
- Validate automated test scripts in cooperation with business users and development teams and ensure appropriate business sign off is secured
- Participate in risk-based testing assessments with business users
- Define and coordinate the construction of testing environments and ensure that the necessary components are in place before testing commences
- Participate in the delivery of quality systems to the live environment on time and in budget
- Ensure that any issues or risks are addressed in an appropriate manner, escalating them as required
Requirements:
- University or Technical College graduate (preferably in IT) followed by at least 2 years of testing experience
- Experience in automating non-UI systems testing like RESTful services, MQ, DB testing
- Experienced in Continuous Integration - Git, Jira, Jenkins
- Basic knowledge of Java
- Proven experience of working in an agile cross-functional team taking responsibility for the deliverables and quality
- Fluent English
