Our Client is currently looking for Candidates who will join the Cracow team as a Software Developer.
We are looking for a developer with good front-end and back-end skills in order to expand a new loglines troubleshooting system.
The developer will be tasked with expanding the GUI (written in Javascript) for a better user experience as well as expanding the back-end code (written in Go) for supporting more data. If remaining time allows, an API into a deep learning anomaly detection system will have to be integrated. The web server is written in Golang using Go templates.
This is a job for an expert who can demonstrate a strong focus on software design, user experience, workflow simplicity and elegance. The candidate has to have a broad expertise in web technologies, with an emphasis on interactive, real-time experiences and speed of execution.
Minimum Requirements:
- BE or MS EE/CS with 3+ years of coding experience
- Excellent domain knowledge & proven experience working with HTML/CSS and Javascript
- Proven experience with Golang and Go web development is a must (minimum 1 year)
- Fluent with Linux SysAdmin and security
- Experience with databases (noSQL) and API’s
- Experience with Agile/scrum development
- Innovative and out of the box thinking
- Self-driven with good communication skills
Desired Requirements:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, NETFLOW, LAN/WAN routing & switching and other network layer protocols a plus
- Able to deal with performance and scalability issues for processing large data volumes
- Experience with data analytics tools development, time series data in particular
- Elastic Search and Kafka work experience
- Docker containers
- Machine Learning basics
Additionally:
- This position requires to have 50% of office presence (Cracow); the remaining time might be conducted remotely
- Occasional travel to Belgium (Brussels) and short stays there might be required
