On behalf of our Client, the global company located in the city centre, to the internal IT department, we are currently looking for: Service Desk Specialist
On this position main responsibilities include:
- support the business located globally
- provide high level of customer service to the business
- resolving 1st and 2nd line break-fix support via desk side visits or remote control
- managing the IT equipment on site, including making available equipment for new starters, dealing with departmental moves and liaising with third parties. incidents and ticket management
- routine maintenance and administration for all services
- liaising with technical and business teams
Requirements:
- at least 1 year experience in support
- excellent knowledge of IT literacy especially within a Microsoft environment e.g. Windows 7, Office 2010, XP, Outlook, Exchange, Active Directory
- knowledge of support packages including Service Management Tools such as Hornbill SupportWorks, Remote access tools such as Remote Assistance and RDP
- positive and effective approach to problem solving
- good team player skills
- due to working in an international environment very good English (written and spoken) is a must
