Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Netherlands.
The company is based in the south of the Netherlands and is a rapidly growing organization.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The senior research associate will be involved in oncology projects. Main tasks are the development and execution of both biochemical and cellular assays, and the characterization of antibody leads. A variety of techniques will be used, among which flow cytometry, proliferation and survival assays, transfection and Western blot, ELISA, mRNA isolation, DNA cloning, PCR.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- develop biochemical and cellular assays for the validation and selection of novel antibody therapeutics
- acquisition and demonstration of relevant scientific insights and propose and implement novel assays and technologies
- technology transfer
- coordinate lab activities, instruction and coaching of junior team members
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/MSc degree plus 5-10 years of experience in the field of (tumor) immunology, oncology or related areas
- technical expertise in cellular immunology, biology or molecular biology is a plus
- excellent communication skills and team player/coach
