Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data and specifications
- Minimum of 5 year experience with scripting and/or programming
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience as a test developer for a major application release, with at least 3 year experience with web applications
- Minimum of 5 years JAVA development and using Eclipse, IntelliJ IDE
- Minimum of 5 year experience automation test, Selenium WebDriver API
- Experience/knowledge using Oracle SQL Developer
- Experience/knowledge using Continuous Integration, Jenkins automation build application
We Expect
- 4+ years of work experience in software testing (enterprise applications is a plus)
- Highly experienced with QA methodologies, processes and tools
- Experience setting up quality processes/driving quality initiatives on a project level
- Strong understanding of web-based technologies
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance and product quality
- Ability to perform tests against Web applications, both front-end UI as well as back-end databases, application servers, and services
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute a testing strategy
- Upper intermediate level of English in both writing and speaking
- Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to either the QA Manager or VP of Product Operations
- Working with QA, Development and Product Teams to prioritise the development of automated tests
- Key Contributor in the recommendations based on client desires, product architecture, cost, quality and delivery timelines
- Participating in design and requirements meetings from a test automation perspective and presents the strategy for automation
- Developing a solid understanding of a tested product’s intended performance
- Coordinating the identification and resolution of software issues between multiple departments, groups and locations
- Researching new testing technologies and methods, including automated testing tools, in order to improve code quality and processes on an ongoing basis
