Your new company
For our Client, an international organization from the Real Estate sector, we are currently looking for a Senior Property Accountant.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing daily operations in Poland. You will prepare monthly and yearly financial statements, submit and review the tax return, VAT, RETT, issue monthly service invoices, perform AR reconciliation, and prepare AP entries on a timely basis and process payment. Other tasks in this role will include preparing documents for the financial audits, as well as communicating with the auditors, and tax authorities, coordination of the Property Manager on service charge reconciliation, supporting Asset Operation team on data consolidation as required, supporting HQ Finance on internal operational procedures enhancement, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to have a Bachelor’s Degree (finance, accounting, economy, or related field), demonstrated 5+ years of experience in Accounting, strong polish statutory knowledge, and you will need to have a basic knowledge of the IFRS. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must. Ideal Candidate should be communicative, a team player, have excellent attention to detail, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience in real estate industry with a good understanding of facility and property management processes, tasks and market practice will be an asset.
